Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Arthiksha (arthiksha.in) is a stock screener and trading-education service for Indian markets, operated by Hariom Arora, India. For anything about your data, write to hariomhazara9@gmail.com. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, where it lives and how you can have it removed.

2. What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, the name you give us, and — only if you choose to add it — a WhatsApp number. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email, name and profile picture with us; we ask for nothing else.
• Your saved work. Saved scans, watchlists, custom indicators, alert settings, notes and course progress — the things you create on the site so they are there when you come back.
• Usage and technical data. Pages visited, the type of device and browser, your IP address and timestamps. We use these to keep the service secure, to limit abuse (for example rate limits) and to understand what people use.
• Messages you send us. Support, contact and feature requests, including the name and mobile number you type into those forms.
• Payments. When paid plans are on, payments are handled by a payment provider. We receive a confirmation of the payment; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

3. How we use it

To run the service and sign you in; to keep your saved work; to send you login links and service messages (for example about your plan); to answer your messages; to keep one active login per account, which protects your account; to prevent abuse; and to improve the product. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising networks on the site.

4. Sign-in and cookies

You sign in with a one-time email link or with Google; both are handled through our authentication provider (Supabase). We use only essential cookies — the ones that keep you signed in. Your browser may also keep small preferences (such as a chosen tab or theme) on your own device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Where your data is kept and who processes it

• Accounts and saved work: Supabase, in its Mumbai (India) region.
• The site and its market data: our own servers in India.
• Google: only if you use Google sign-in, under Google's own privacy policy.
• Email delivery: the service that sends your login links and notices.
• Market-data providers: we receive market data from them; they receive no personal data about you.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and your saved work within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (for example payment records) are kept for the period the law requires and then deleted.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your name and WhatsApp number on your profile page at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by writing to hariomhazara9@gmail.com from the email address on the account. We follow India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable; the same address is our contact for any grievance about your data.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to systems is restricted, and each account has one active login at a time. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your data we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Age

Arthiksha is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top changes with it. For a change that matters to you, we will also tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
